Its the third week of school and exams are piling up. So I thought I would write a blog before I go full steam on study mode.
I was reading the 2012 Spring SHU Magazine and found an article on SHU's attraction around the world. it is interesting to see what a diversified campus we got here. The students, not only come from different states in the United States, but from all over the world. These countries include Columbia, Greece, Poland, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, China and many more. The students come here to learn English and various other subjects. Since the Fall Fest is coming up, I hope to meet and talk to many of the people from around the globe.
Its nice to see a relatively small institution making such huge strides.
I know my last blog was eons ago. But now that school has started I promised myself to post more. I will try to attend as many events as possible and share my experince on the blog.
Feels so good to start school again. Meeting old friends and making new ones. The Tie-Dye event hosted by the Students events team was great. From what I have heard 200 shirts went in 20 minutes! That is insane.
Super excited to become the secretary of biology club. On the "Go hard or go home" motto this semester!
Seems like yesterday I was done with my finals but it has been over 3 weeks since I have been out of school. I have so many plans for this summer, just got to follow through them now. Since I am a biology major, volunteer work related to health care attract me. I will be volunteering at red cross, American caner society and at a hospital this summer. It seems like a lot but it is defiantly rewarding to help others. I will also be taking some classes for MCAT. I am not a big fan of standardized tests. It is like taking SAT's all over again except much harder. However, with all of this planned, I still don't want my summer to go without some fun. My friends from high school that now go to different schools are all back for summer and we hang out as much as possible. I have a growing interest in a summer abroad. I definitely want to do a summer abroad next time because it will be such a learning experience. I just feel like there is nothing better than experiencing the world on your own and learning about different cultures.
