Here we are again. Another exhausting semester! Work is piling up, tests are coming up, projects are rolling in...AH
I think all of us college students would sometimes like to live at college and not actually do the work. So far from reality. Though this past weekend was so, soo much fun, sunday has not been so much of a "fun-day".
After a few hours of work, I am taking a break and relaxing! sheesh! I spent sometime before bidding on Ebay for a financial calculator that I need for class. I got it for 15.99, thats pretty good for a Texas Instruments. I also got one of my textbooks this year on ebay's half.com for $1.88, yes you read correctly...$1.88. Asides from the wonders of the internet and Ebay, today was the Marketing Club's Super Bowl Advertisement Event!
The Marketing Club, in collaboration with Sean Heffron and the Welch Experience, held an event to watch and discuss the pros and cons of the commercials aired during the Super Bowl. With a marketing professor, Professor Goldstein, in attendance not only were we discussing but we were learning. Not to mention we got free wings for being there! This event counts towards the Welch List. The Welch List is a compliation of events attended by students thrown by the Welch College of Business. It's a way to motivate business students to get more involved and take advatage of everything that the business school and the university have to offer them! This Wednesday I'm attending an Etiquette Networking Dinner, also thrown by the Welch Experience WCOB, where all business students are invited to learn how to carry themselves in a professional situation and network with other professionals; such an important tool that eveyone should know!
