As all of the world knows, Japan has endured one of the largest earthquakes that the world has seen. An earthquake sizing up to 8.9 on the richter scale followed by a devastating tsunami. With Japan being world powerhouse, it was frightening to see that a nation with even the most high tech and innovative emergency planning systems could not lessen the wrath of this terrible natural disaster. What does mother nature have in store for us next? (Not to mention the beautiful weather we have today with snow in the forecast for next week)
The talk of the San Andreas fault in California has be hearsay for years now, but after the tragedy in Japan, it is causing rising fears. Will the United States be prepared for a disaster like this? How can we cope? One of my favorite lines from a newscaster was "The ships along the California cost got thrown around like toy boats in a bathtub". This is eye opening to me. We are just toys in mother natures hands. Pray for Japan.

Great blog, great writing, great summarization, wonderful experience is the core reasons for me to appreciate your blog writing.
