officially spring!

I hope everyone has been enjoying this beautiful weather, because I know I sure am! One of the greatest aspects of going to Sacred Heart, is the beach in Fairfield. On any nice day you can be sure to find me there. This weekend my friends and I went to the beach, and then to the Sacred Heart Baseball game vs UCONN.  Unfortunately, we lost, but it was still a great day to watch a baseball game.

One of our friends also had a barbeque which was fun to be outside all day long. It got me extremely excited to have a house next year, especially since we have a huge backyard!

Also, I am super excited because I got a position on the Spectrum ( our school newspaper ) as Assistant Advertising Manager! I couldn't be more excited, because advertising is exactly what I want to do, and it will be fun to have a little insight as to what I want to do when I graduate.

Well the weekend is over :( and now its back to homework!

Is Spring Break Really Over?

Wow guys, I have never witnessed a year fly by so fast like this year. It feels like yesterday it was summer and I was packing up my things for school. 

Now that Spring Break is over the next break we can all look forward to is Easter Break.

I cant even believe I have been to the Bahamas and back already! It was a great week, my friends and I all got very tan ( hehe :) ) and now we have all been greeted by this horrible rain, we have had for the past few days.

In the Bahamas, we made sure to make our way over to the Atlantis in Paradise Island. We spent 2 days there and hung out at their beaches and pools. We went on the lazy river and down the slides, all of which were relaxing and fun!

Being the tourists that we are, we made our way to Senor Frogs two nights also!  If youve never been to Senor Frogs, ITS DEFINITELY TIME YOU GO! great music, great food, great drinks -- all around, a GREAT time!

Now that spring break is over, its all work work work and then of course the anticipation of St Patricks Day and Easter break.

second semester

wow guys, i apologize for not keeping up with my blog!  this semester has been a crazy one!

I have been writing for the Spectrum, our school newspaper, and it has been quite the challenge, but a fun experience. 

this year has flown by, and i can not even believe that I am almost done with my second year of college!  Now school is on Spring Break, which almost marks the half way mark of this semester.

For spring break, a bunch of friends and I will be traveling to the Bahamas! One of the days we are going to the Atlantis to use the slides and all the great pools, and possibly even swim with dolphins!

Along with Spring Break and all the crazy things that have gone on this semester, my friends and I have already found a house for next year.  It is extremely exciting to think we will have our own house next year. We will have it all summer long, so it will be fun to come up and decorate.

I am looking forward to the rest of the semester and will have to upload pictures from the bahamas for you all to see!
