Summer Plans

Hey everyone, who has plans for summer? Well if you asked me, I would be totally clueless. After finishing my first year of college, it is suprising that I do not have a single plan for summer. When I was in high school, I would have a bunch of the things I wanted to do in the summer. After finishing up a year fo college, with a good amount of stress, the only plan that I want toi make is to unwind afte r a long year. As of now I think my only plans are to go to the beach and just RELAX, see friends from high school that I haven't seen since Christmas, and of course see movies that people have been anticipating ever since they saw the trailers. As of right now, I am going to have an enjoyable improvised summer.

Finishing the First Year of College

Many people say that college flies by. You really don’t believe it until you actually experience it. For me, college is already flying by. It feels like yesterday that I was moving into my dorm room in Merton hall, anxious to see how my first year was actually going to go. I was lucky enough to learn so many important things after my first year. For example, time management is not a myth. Another thing I was lucky to learn was meal money goes faster than a Ferrari. However, the most important thing that I learned this year was finding your true friends. I was lucky to meet friends that I will have for a life time. The one great thing about going to a school like Sacred Heart is that everyone that I see here is so friendly. I cannot count the amount of times that someone has held the door for me, or has swiped me in for dinner at the end of the semester. Bottom line, I was able to finish my first year successfully, because of the fact that your friends at school will act like your family and support you no matter what. I’m already excited to come back to SHU and even learn more lessons than I did this year.
