Ha. That is exactly what I am doing right now. I am procrastinating my long read for my media studies class. But at least I am putting my procrastination to good use. I am fixing my horrendus resume thanks to Career Development (WHEN YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR RESUME GO THERE!!!). They were such a huge help. They gave me a format for me to fill out so I could build my resume and then I came back after I filled it out and they helped me polish it all up so I can start sending them. Now I just need to work on a cover letter. It takes so much work just to get an internship. So I guess a big issue today is the whole political election that is just getting bigger and bigger. I didn't go to the McCain rally on sunday. I am not big on politics but I know enough to know McCain isn't for me. Though I still do not know who I am going to vote for, I'll probarbly end up knowing when it's down to the finals. One thing that I do think is really important now that I am old enough, is going out there and voting on election day. Now I know a lot of poitcal science majors know that it isn't about the popular votes, but the electoral. Still, it doesn't matter if the popular votes are less important, the important thing is that as an American citizen we go out and support the democratic action of voting. I just think that its more than who you want in office, but the fact that we are able to choose, and and declare our choice is just as important. Anyways, in other hot topics, especially in this campus, I have been coming across on the topic of housing. Personally, I am planning to get a house next year and live with a few of my friends off campus. We just need to figure out in what area do we want to live in and start going out there and looking. We are going to try and find someone to help us search, like a real estate agent or a broker or someone like that... Okay so the big talk from this weekend wasn't McCain, but of course the Superbowl. I was on the fence. I am a Patriots fan, but being from Queens, I had to also cheer for the Giants. They played an amazing game. That was a pretty exciting game to watch. This was the first Superbowl that I really celebrated. My roomate and me went to her friends house where we cooked all the Superbowl foods, wings, chili, heroes, chips, cupcakes, piglets in a blanket (i helped with that one :P ), I definitley had a good time, met some awesome people and had a great time. I definitley want to go all out from now on, it seems like the only great way to watch the Superbowl. Ok enough procrastinating, time to read. Keep li/oving.
