Hey everyone, hope your having a good vaca. So, I am currently home, in bed, watching the Bourne movies being a bum, attempting to get some work done. I actually did most of it so I happy. I actually had to go to civil court today because I got called for jury duty. So I ride my bike all the way there and then when I'm going through security, I find out I lost all my papers, including the proof of attendance I had to get out of it! I had to ride to another building, and talk to this woman, but thankfully it all worked out.
So on the brighter side, my cousin is giving me a car!!! I am so happy about that!!! I realized I'm going to need a car real soon for next year, and I remembered he had a bunch and wanted to get rid of a few, so I called him, and he had one waiting for me!!! I was so thrilled!!! It's a 96 Mercury Grand Marqui. It's like those black taxi cars. Actually it is one of those black taxi cars exactly lol. The lucky part is that if my mom likes it, she will take that one and then I will get the civic!!! So lets keep our fingers crossed on that one.
So I went onto Web Advisor today and finally looked at my midterm grades. I actually did pretty good! There was only one class I got a N/G, which just happened to be the class I was most worried about but oh well. I still did good in all of my other classes, so it's good news for mom. Speaking of classes, I did an article for the Spectrum on how three students won an art competition, and I did a whole article about that but I got really into it, and looked at all of the winners nation-wide, and some of the art work is really amazing, I really suggest you check out this website with all of the winners: http://www.soicompetitions.org/. There you just click on see all winners.
Here are the winners from our school:

Oh and for some publicity for the newspaper, go and pick up the Spectrum this thurday when we come back!!!
On a worried note, I have been on this computer for hours trying to find a good internship this summer, and it almost seems impossible! All I honestly want in an internship is to work on a film set, even if I get coffee I don't really care, but it just seems like all of the internships is with a company rather than the actual film. It's frustrating. Since I want to work in film, but don't know specifically yet what I want to do, I figure I should work on a film set, but it's so hard to find out where I can get a job on one. My cousin does lighting sometimes, so maybe I'll ask him.
Well, time to put in the next movie. Hope everyone has a good break! Keep Li/oving.
