I have been waiting for this day since I can remember. This past September my dream became a reality of studying abroad in a country I have been dying to visit when I recieved my acceptance from John Cabot University (an American Institution in the heart of Rome). I have been abroad before, I spent ten days in Spain, and a week in Ireland. But this time it is different, because I will become a part of Rome for the four months I live there. I will learn how to adapt to the culture, and live life like an Italian. Right now the anticipation is building as I sit in the international terminal at Logan Airport in Boston awaiting my 8hr and 5 min flight to the Eternal City. I have no idea what to expect other then the trip of a lifetime. I have never heard someone say they wished they did not go abroad for a semester. I have only heard people say they wish they had. I hope you follow me as I live out my dream of traveling all over Italy and other parts of Europe, adapting to life in a different country, and oh yeah taking classes... I can not thank my family and friends enough for their support; I love you all and cannot wait for you to visit! Ciao America and buongiorno Roma!
