September is officially in full swing! The students are back on campus, classes have started, the football season is well underway - yes, folks it is another year here at Sacred Heart. For those of us who work here, we always appreciate the quiet that comes with June. Finally some time to clean out our in-boxes, clean off our desks and start preparing for the fall. By mid-July that is over and we miss the students. Nothing is world is better than working with an amazing group of young adults on the brink of starting their new lives and making this world a better place.
With the start of the academic year also means that the Office of Alumni Relations is back in full swing. Our theme for the year is Get Back to the Heart! Catchy? Yes. Meaningful? Absolutely. So, what do we mean?
- Literally Get Back to the Heart - come for campus tour (from yours truly), come see a game, etc.

Get in touch with your SHU friends. Haven't spoken to your roommate for a while? Shoot them an email or a Facebook message. While you are at it, pull on that old SHU sweatshirt.
