The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosted one of its largest events for prospective students ever over the weekend when more than 2,500 visitors toured campus, attended academic information sessions and met with various representatives from our athletic teams as well as clubs and organizations.
This was the third and final open house of the fall semester, and all three events were extremely successful. Combined, the three open houses had the highest attendance in SHU history.
“This accomplishment is attributed to the entire community and the hard work that everyone contributes to these events,” said Rob Gilmore, director of campus experience. In particular, he offered thanks to SHU Administration, Public Safety, Campus Operations, Chartwells and the SHU Student Ambassadors.
Gilmore also noted that prospective students and their families will continue to visit on a daily basis, and members of the community are encouraged to be welcoming and offer assistance to any visitors.
