On my way into the office this morning, the temperature gauge in my car read "41" degrees. It's not that 41 is that cold per se, but it's a sure sign of things to come. Halloween has come and gone, Election Day is the next to fall, and we change the clocks next weekend. Where does the time go? I hesitate to use the H-word (holidays), but those are upon us as well.
With that in mind, University College @ Sacred Heart University has rolled out an exciting and diverse line-up of Winter Interesession courses which will run between the end of the Fall 2010 semester and the start of the Spring 2011 semester. There's a bit of a twist this year, however, as we will now offer three different Winter Interesessions to choose from. Consider this a winning, winter trifecta!
Three different sessions layered throughout the course of less than a month can be a little tricky, but we think it can work quite well. The schedule for the sessions is as follows:
WINTER 2011 A: 12/20-12/30
WINTER 2011 B: 12/27-1/14
WINTER 2011 C: 1/3-1/14
WInter Intersessions are ideal for those Sacred Heart University students looking to get a few more credits out of the way before the start of the semester, or students from other colleges and universities that may be back home in Connecticut over Winter Break, looking to do something productive (besides returning the tacky sweaters they received as Christmas gifts). While the bulk of the Winter Intersession courses are running online, there are several more traditional options running "on the ground" as we like to say.
